I often get DMs and emails from you all asking for recommendations for accommodations around France. Not surprisingly, two of the most popular destinations you all ask about are Provence and the Côte d’Azur. I decided I would compile some of my own favorite hotels with some other recommendations from others who know the South of France well to share with you.

This region is wonderful every month of the year, but most people tend to go in Summer to enjoy the lavender fields. That is something every lover of France should see (and smell). Happy traveling and please leave your own favorites in the comments.

Provençal Countryside

La Cour des Sens

My parents and I randomly found La Cour des Sens when headed to Provence a couple of years ago, and we haven’t stopped talking about it since. Everything about it was wonderful, from the owners, to the comfortable, spacious, and air-conditioned rooms to the location among many of Provence’s most charming towns. I will never forget our stay here and look forward to returning many more times.

You can read about our stay and see more photos at my post here.
