After having visited Paris several times and having lived in the City for almost a year, I took a trip one night to Trocadéro. I had heard of it many times, passed it on Line 6 even more often, but never paid any attention to what was actually being talked about. I left the métro station, following the signs for the Tour Eiffel, not needing any direction, as the crowd was  headed determinedly that way too. Up up up I went, unaware of the view that I was about to be struck with. Now, if you’ve ever been to Trocadéro you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s a photo that you’ve seen a thousand times, but the scene is far more striking when you see it in person.

Now, I have a unique love for the Eiffel Tower, perhaps even obsession-level love. I just get a little tinge of something in my belly each and every time I see it, even to this day. But the view from the Place du Trocadéro and the Palais de Chaillot is incredible. It’s so magnificent, words can’t even express how striking the scene is when you turn that corner after coming from up from the métro.

Treat yourself for the first, second, or twentieth time to this spectacular Parisian scene as soon as you can!
