Have you ever wandered down Quai Saint Bernard toward Quai de la Tournelle and les îles and seen this little half circle stage of sorts along the Seine? Oftentimes you’ll see dance lessons taking place here or impromptu group dances that are for practice but end up entertaining passers-by as much as anything. After a lovely stroll through Jardin des Plantes one late afternoon in March – just before sunset – I came across this scene. Obviously, it was not the dancers this time that had captured my attention.
